BAOHAUS was established in 2020 as a result of a long-term cooperation between executive producer Oliver McGillick &  the prague-based directing duo bao-bab: Oliver Beaujard & Nina Zardalishvili.

After several years of experience in the film, video & event industry, a creative friendship was ready to take on a new form, hence BAOHAUS – a creative production house capable of creating unique moving images for a wide variety of clients.

The word BAOHAUS points towards a combination of aspects: “Bao” as the Bao-bab directors, “Haus” as in production house, and “Baohaus”, as a phonetic nod to the Staatliches Bauhaus – the german art school promoting equality in art and technically expert craftsmanship.

BAOHAUS (zal. 2020) je vyústěním dlouhodobé spolupráce mezi  výkonným producentem Oliverem McGillickem a režijním duem bao-bab: Olivera Beaujarda a Niny Zardalishvili.

Po několikaleté zkušenosti v oblasti filmu, videa a eventového průmyslu, se toto kreativní přátelství nachýlilo ke své nové kapitole pod názvem BAOHAUS – kreativní produkční společnosti vytvářející unikátní obsah pro širokou škálu klientů, napříč všemi spektry.

Slovo BAOHAUS je kombinací několika aspektů: “BAO” jakožto režijní duo bao-bab, “Haus” jakožto variace na anglický překlad slova “dům”, a “Baohaus” jakožto fonetická reference k umělecké škole Bauhaus, která propagovala rovnost mezi uměním a technicky expertním řemeslem.

Spojujeme umění a průmysl, propojujeme formu a funkci, kombinujeme funkční a krásné.
